There is a ‘Wightlink’ car ferry terminal very close to Gunwharf Quays at Portsmouth. This will take you to Fishbourne on the Isle of Wight. There are often special offers offered for a car with passengers by Wightlink so it is worth looking through their site at www.wightlink.co.uk. The crossing takes about 40 minutes and the ferry is spacious, comfortable and has a shop and cafeteria. Car ferries also run from Lymington to Yarmouth with Wightlink, as well as from Southampton to East Cowes with Red Funnel.
Once you get to the Isle of Wight, from Fishbourne take the A3054 and join the A3055 at Ryde. From Ryde carry along the A3055 until you reach the B3330 towards St Helens. After approximately 2 miles the road bends to the right and the sign for Nodes Point Holiday Park will be on your left.
Follow the road up the beautiful driveway and your keys will be available for collection from reception from 4pm.
On Foot
The nearest train station is ‘Portsmouth and Southsea’ if you are travelling to Portsmouth by train, there are plenty of taxis at the Ryde terminals which should only cost you a few pounds to take you straight to the park.
You can catch the FastCat catamaran passenger ferry from Southsea to Ryde with Wightlink, or how about a 10 minute ride on the hovercraft. Both services leave from Clarence Esplanade, Southsea to Ryde. Go to www.hovertravel.co.uk for further details.
